Dukora Idea started with fairy lights, LED strips and smart bulbs, and the readers who wanted to know what to do with them. The questions were always the same: how do I hide the battery pack? Why does my strip go pink at the end? How many strands do I need for the patio?
So that's what this site is for. We write step-by-step DIY projects, honest light guides that explain what actually matters (power, wire, waterproofing, timers, apps) and free tools that do the math for you.

How we write
We don't sell lights, and nobody pays to appear in our guides. Numbers like battery life and power draw are typical ranges, not lab results, and we say so. If something here is wrong or out of date, tell us and we'll fix it.
